The Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Network (NLPN) Product Identification Number (PIN) list has been created by the Centre to facilitate the submission of clinical information to the Pharmacy Network for items that do not have a:

• Drug Identification Number (DIN) from Health Canada
• Natural Product Number (NPN) from Health Canada
• pseudoDIN from OPINIONs database

You may search the NL Pharmacy Network PIN list by entering a full or partial name of the product. If your search does not provide a result, please contact your software vendor for assistance.

The NL Pharmacy Network PIN list is also available in Appendix B of the Pharmacy Network User Guide that has been provided to pharmacies prior to connection to the Pharmacy Network. In addition, the most up to date information available to pharmacists and pharmacy staff can be found here.
